Walking/Cycling in the Irish Midlands Our inclusive package consists of walking and cycling around the Slieve Bloom Mountains in Co Offaly. The walks are on track and trail and can vary in length from 10 km. to 20 km. depending upon the fitness of the individual. Your cycling routes are 25 km approx. per day. Our Itinerary-- Transfer from Airport to Accommodation in Birr Day 1 Walk in Slieve Bloom Mountain (Cadamstown area) Day 2- Cycle and walk in Lough Boora Parkland,nature reserve. Day3 Coach tour to Clare and Galway (optional) Day 4- Walk in Slieve Bloom Mountain (Kinnitty area) Day 5- Cycle to Blackwater Bogtrain and Clonmacnoise overnight in Ballinasloe Day 6- Cycle to Aughrim Interpretative centre, Clonfert Cathedral (World Heritage Site) overnight in Banagher after enjoying a good ould multinational sing song. Day7- Airport Transfer Optional- Day 3 1.To give these tired limbs a rest, we travel by coach to the West coast of Ireland, Cliffs of Moher, the Burren , along the rugged Clare coast to Galway Bay and to spend some time in the city.
