All bedrooms are supplied with free bed linen and free towels. It has a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, tumble dryer and washing machine and a comfy living area with an open fire where you can watch some television. The cottage is situated on its own grounds (with private parking) and commands spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
This cottage has a great location and is perfectly situated for an activity holiday, a touring holiday or just sheer relaxation in the beautiful countryside. The surrounding area is a haven for outdoor activities with opportunities for fishing, golfing, horse riding and hill walking all close by. If you intend on dining out, there are lots of good restaurants and bars in Nenagh and Newport. Because of its central location, the cottage is an excellent base for touring. Attractions not to miss on your travels include Nenagh Castle, Birr Castle, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and the Rock of Cashel. One of Irelands largest inland lakes, Lough Derg is only a 15 minute drive from the cottage. The lake is known as ‘Irelands pleasure lake’ and is renowned for game and coarse angling, sailing, windsurfing and skiing. Better still, why not hire a boat and have your own adventure on the lake.
