Holy Cross Church of Ireland church , has a three faced clock on the embattlemented tower and fine stone mullioned windows in the nave and chancel.

The major and exciting restoration of the church of the former Cistercian foundation at Holy Cross, for use as a parish church, was completed in 1975 . It houses two relics of the True Cross.

The restored building and attendant religious ceremonies attract enormous crowds. Its architectural brilliance - groined ceiling, lofty arches, east and west windows and elaborate decorative stone work, most notably the sedilia - are described and illustrated in readily - available publications. The recently restored west range has shop, tourist information office, exhibition area and audio visual presentation.
