Ashley Park House is a luxury country house B&B which is secluded on 76 acres of woodland and gardens, just 4km from Nenagh in County Tipperary. Ashley Park House was renovated in 1993 as the B&B is in fact, a historic mansion dating from the 18th century, so it oozes old world charm.

Naturelovers will enjoy the peaceful and tranquil grounds that surround the house. The grounds are studded with 300 year old trees and there's even a private fishing lake and a bird sanctuary.
Your days at Ashley Park House, can be filled with endless activities as there is fishing, bicycle hire, boating and a forest park all on site! And for when the weather is wet, you can enjoy a few games of pool on the snooker table.
Ashley Park House is very centrally located for touring. Attraction worth visiting on your travels include the Rock of Cashel, the Swiss Cottage, Cahir Castle and Holycross Abbey to name a few.

After a long day exploring the surrounding countryside, you can return to the warmth and comfort of Ashley Park House where you can enjoy a delightful 4 course meal complimented by a nice bottle of wine.

Travelling From Dublin
Travel on the N7 to the Nenagh, turnoff (about 100 kilometres from Dublin) and follow signs to Nenagh.  When you reach the first roundabout in Nenagh, take a right onto the N52, which will be sign, posted to Borrisokane. Go past Tesco at the roundabout, and travel straight on and follow the road out of the town. At the next roundabout continue straight again, heading for Borrisokane. Drive for about 4.5 kilometers; you will see a lake on the left hand site with a large white house on the far side. This is Ashley Park House. The entrance is on the left through a large stone arch, past the gate house. Take the drive past the lake to the house. At night time we leave the floodlight on and you can see us from across the lake.

From Shannon Airport and Limerick
From Shannon, take the road to Limerick. Once you arrive in Limerick, take the N7 to Nenagh (it is also sign posted to Dublin). Take the turnoff for Nenagh and at the first roundabout take 1st exit (signposted to Borrisokane and the N52). Follow through the next two roundabouts and at the final roundabout, take a left to Borrisokane (you cannot go straight on here). Follow the road away from the town for about three miles. You will see a lake on the left hand site with a large white house on the far side. This is Ashley Park House.

Ashley Park House consists of five luxurious bedrooms, all of which contain ensuite facilities. Each bedroom is fit for a king and beautifully decorated throughout with elegant finishings. In room facilities consist of King size beds, hairdryer, Tea/coffee making facilities and TV.

The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The room breakdown consists of two double bedrooms and three bedrooms with a double and single bed, ideal for families or groups. The bedrooms are very classical and elegant in décor and some feature antiques and period furnishings.

This stunning mansion is family friendly with the added plus of a cot available on request along with childrens meals. Ground floor bedrooms are available as is private parking.

Dining at Ashley Park House.
Dinner is served on request each evening in the two adjoining dining rooms to both guests of the mansion and to the public. Both dining rooms are beautifully decorated throughout and the Red dining Room enjoys views of the lake through the original stained glass window. After a long but enjoyable day touring the area, guests can choose from delicious Poached Supreme of Chicken stuffed with seasonal vegetables and layered in a cream sauces to baked salmon served with a mushroom and cream sauce with stir fried vegetables all complimented with the very best of wines.

The Gardens at Ashley Park House
Ashley Park Estate is home to beautiful gardens, which are open to guests of the house. Here you can lose yourself in the peaceful 80 acres of mature beech woodlands. The area is maintained as a bird sanctuary and the island on the lake, Louch Ourna provides a safe haven for breeding. This is the perfect place to relax, unwind and forget about the everyday hustle and bustle of life.

Ashley Park House sits on the shores of Lough Ourna, which is ideal for fishing activities. Other activities which can be enjoyed locally include cycling, indoor swimming pool, squash, tennis, water sports, hill walking, angling and golf.
