The Abbey Court Lodges are superb self catering accommodation located on the grounds of Abbey Court Hotel on the outskirts of Nenagh town in County Tipperary.

These exclusive three storey lodges provide excellent self catering accommodation and include the use of the hotel's facilities. You have a choice of 3,5 or 8 bedroom lodges, which are beautifully designed and extremely spacious.  A real home away from home.

 
Abbey Court Lodge are situated just off the main Dublin to Limerick Road (N7) gateway to Lough Derg. It just 2 hours from Dublin and only half and hour from Limerick City.
From Dublin
Follow signs for the N7 by passing Naas, Kildare, Monsterevin and Portlaoise, entering Mountrath follow the signs for Limerick. By pass Roscrea, straight through Moneygall and Toomevara. Approx 2 km outside Toomevara, take the slip road off the main N7 taking a left at the top of the road and straight into Nenagh Town. Abbey Court Hotel is located on the left hand side as you enter Nenagh.
From Limerick
At Finnegans Roundabout take the exit for Dublin, passing through Castleconnell and Birdhill (N7) approx for 12km. Take the slip road from the N7 into Nenagh Town. Go through 3 roundabouts and at the third roundabout pass Dunnes Stores, take the first exit. At the 4th roundabout take the second exit and at the 5th roundabout take the first exit. At the 6th roundabout take the second exit which will take you out onto the Dublin Road.

Each house is designed to a four star standard and comes fully equipped with all modern conveniences. A typical 5 bedroom lodge consists of three double rooms with en-suite facilities, one double room and one twin room sharing a bathroom and seperate w.c on the ground floor.
The houses are wheelchair accessible. They consist of a modern and spacious lounge, large kitchen and dining area combined and well as an enclosed private decking to the rear of the lodges.
Kitchen
Each of the luxurious lodges have a large living room area as well as a combined kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave for your convenience.
Needless to say, there are colour TV's in all the Lodges. Each guest has full access to the Hotel's facilities including swimming pool, gym and Rugrats Kids Club. Entertainment in the Bar of the Hotel every Friday and Saturday night.

There are wonderful onsite Hotel facilities available for use by holiday homes guests including: Swimming Pool- Free access to Trinity leisure Club with 20metre pool with Jacuzzi, sauna & steamroom Kiddies Pool Gymnasium - This large state of the art gymnasium is equipped with the latest equipment.  Brand New Spa- You will find the Spa an idyllic haven of tranquility, the ideal place to be spoiled & pampered (payable locally) Abbots Bar has simply the best entertainment in town! Traditional atmosphere & a stone fireplace complements the restaurant beautifully.

Lough Derg is set in some of Ireland's most beautiful countryside. Winding uncrowded country roads encircle the lake. Forest walks have been developed on the shoreline.

Boating & Sailing
Explore the lake by boat. Enjoy some brisk sailing or take your ease in a fishing boat. The area of deep navigable non-tidal water exceeds 60 square miles.

Day Cruises on Lough Derg
There are several Lake Bus operations on Lough Derg. Cruise from Garrykennedy, Dromineer and Killaloe to nearby harbour villages. Cruise from Mountshannon to Holy Island, site of a 7th century monastic settlement. Contact us for additional details.

Nenagh Golf Club, Beechwood, Nenagh, Tipperary, 4 miles NE of Nenagh town, well signposted Established 1929 The course is set on free draining soil making it playable all year round.
