Directions Tieve Baun is located on the link road between N15 from Sligo and the R280 Kinlough to Manorhamilton road. From Manorhamilton: Take the R280 north for 10 miles towards Kinlough, turning left at the sign for Benwisken Centre. The cottage is located 2.5 miles along this road on the left. Through Tullaghan to Creevykeel. Turn left at cross roads. N15 From Sligo: Through Cliffony village. After half a mile, turn at Creevykeel cross roads. Follow the signs for the Benwisken centre. Tieve Baun is located 1 mile past the centre on the right hand side. GPS Co-ordinates: IG76276 and grid reference ITH 52057, O.S. map number 16.

Fishing: Trout & Salmon fishing available on Drowes River & on Lough Melvin (5 miles); coarse fishing available on Glenade Lake (5 miles). Horse Riding: Grange (7 miles). Shopping: Sligo town (14 miles) and Kinlough village (4.5 miles). Historic House: Lisadell (10 miles) and Yeats Country (10 miles)

Tieve Baun standard was indeed 4-star standard. Great location - away from it all - if that is what you want. Very well equipped house and fantastic welcome. A week wasn't enough.
