Tieve Baun Cottage is a traditional style country cottage set at the foot of the Tieve Baun mountain from which it takes its name.
Set in the heart of North county Sligo renowned for its dramatic landscaped, and part of Yeats Country.

Tieve Baun is located on the link road between N15 from Sligo and the R280 Kinlough to Manorhamilton road.
From Manorhamilton: Take the R280 north for 10 north for 10 miles towards Kinlough, turning left at the sign for Benwisken Centre. The cottage is located 2.5 miles along this road on the left.
Through Tullaghan to Creevykeel cross roads turn left.
N15 From Sligo: Through Cliffony village, after half a mile turn at Creevykeel cross roads. Follow the signs for the Benwisken centre. Tieve Baun is located 1 mile past the centre on the right hand side.
GPS Co-ordinates: IG76276 and grid reference ITH 52057, O.S. map number 16.

The cottage was extremely luxureous, very well decorated, very complete with plenty of space and a great vieuw. The cottage and the welcome by the owners made us feel very welcome.

This one is easy, It scores top notch... the Owner is friendly at the welcome, there's even a welcome gift & card you discover afterwards when she's gone :-)- and when she's gone, she leaves you alone during your stay and does not come checkin every day or two... (sometimes that can be a drag). The cottage is worth all its four stars and price/quality is unsurpased... everything is there (and looks brand new), enough wood/turf for the fire if you want it, otherwise central heating and most of all no extras afterwards, all is included in the booking price you agreed upon... that I found nice... Can't do anything else than give a 10 all round... A place to recommend to your friends...
