holiday rental house set amidst the idyllic surrounding of Temple House Estate, Ballymote, Co. Sligo.
This 2 storey self catering house comprises of 4 spacious and elegantly decorated bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, modern bright kitchen with beautiful views overlooking the garden and farmland. A lounge with open fire is enhanced by digital TV.
Within the grounds of Temple House Estate you will find much to do, there are miles of pretty walks and a working farm. You can explore Templehouse Lake with boats for guest use, go fishing or visit the crannogs. You are also well placed to tour Mayo, Connemara, Sligo and South Donegal.

• Car
- The easiest way to find us is off the N17. Look for ‘Templehouse Demesne’ on your GPS.
From North:
9km from Collooney N4/N17 junction, take brown sign left 0.5km south of Ballinacarrow.
From South:
Through Tubber/Tobercurry then after 15km at village sign for Ballinacarrow turn right.
• Bus –
Ballinacarrow on the N17 is 2 km away. Nearest bus station for taxi pick up is Sligo.
• Train Station –
Ballymote Train station on the Sligo-Dublin line is 4 km.
• Airport –
Distance from Property to Ireland West Knock airport is 30 mins drive, Sligo is 25 mins, Dublin, Belfast and Shannon are ~ 3hrs drive
Rooms
On the ground floor of the house you will find:
Living Room with wooden floors and wood burning stove. Spacious, bright and airy farmhouse-style fully fitted kitchen with conservatory style south facing windows overlooking the farmland.
Bedroom with twin beds. Large bathroom/W.C with separate shower.
On the first floor is a double bedrooms with 6ft bed, double bedroom with 5ft bed, bedroom with twin beds, shower room/WC.
Timber floors and warm rugs throughout the house add to it’s homely feel and coziness.
Bed linen, towels, hair dryer and ironing board are supplied for free.
Facilities
Outside the house is a large enclosed garden with sitting and dining areas, BBQ and furniture, ideal for relaxing on a summers evening.
Ample parking is provided just outside the house.
In the living room there is a Digital TV with freeview channels, DVD, Radio cassette and CD player.

Temple House is a classical Georgian mansion set in an estate of 1,200 acres, overlooking a 13th century lakeside castle of the Knights Templar.
There are boats for guest use to go pike & coarse fishing or perhaps to visit the Crannogs and promontory fort on Templehouse Lake. There are miles of walking opportunities across the estate and bird watching too. Subject to availability you may dine at the big house.
Local Area
Within easy reach are beautiful beaches, surfing, archaeological sites, riding schools, trout lakes and four championship golf courses. Traditional music and dancing sessions are often held nearby.
