Directions

Look for road sign Carrowroe, 3km south of Sligo. Take exit off the N4 and drive onto Carraroe Roundabout. Follow sign for Oakfield and travel on for about 0.25 miles, take a left after Railway Bridge, and Orchard Cottage is the 8th house on the left. (The keyholder's house is the 7th on the left).

The cottage is convenient to all amenities. Sligo town is just 5 km away, offering good shopping, restaurants, and night life. Villages, beaches, woodlands walk, lakes, and mountains are all within a 15-minute drive.
Whether you're interested in the historic Sligo Abbey or Carrowmore Tombs, a round of golf at Strandhill, or the region's traditional music and a drink in one of the many Sligo pubs, you won’t be disappointed.

Orchard Cottage was a fantastic place to stay! The owners could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The rooms were spacious and clean. It is in a beautiful location and is well maintained. The only negative I can say is that I regret not staying for longer!

Fantastic cottage! Owners were very friendly and added to our home comforts by leaving home-made scones and other treats. Would recommend to couples or young families like ourselves, perfect with two young children, who loved to play in the garden! Cottage was very clean and had all amenities required for our stay. Great central location to travel around Sligo, close to city centre and also to beautiful beaches. Will definitely come back, already planning our next family wedding for next year!!
