A warm welcome awaits you at this cosy cottage. Orchard Cottage is a 200 plus year old traditional stone built Irish home, so you can experience the old-world while enjoying all modern home comforts. With the green fresh scenic countryside outside by day and the warmth of the open fire by night you are sure to feel at home.

Look for road sign Carrowroe, 3km south of Sligo. Take exit off the N4 and drive onto Carraroe Roundabout. Follow sign for Oakfield and travel on for about 0.25 miles, take a left after Railway Bridge and Orchard Cottage is the eight house on the left. (The keyholders house is the 7th on the left).
The cottage is convenient to all amenities. Just 5 km to Sligo town for good shopping, restaurants and night life. Villages, beaches, woodlands walk, lakes and mountains are all less than 15 min drive. So whether it’s the historic Sligo Abbey or Carrowmore Tombs, a round of golf at Strandhill or the regions traditional music and a drink in one of the many Sligo pubs that interest you, then you won’t be disappointed.

We liked the quiet location with good access to Motorway etc. The Owners were particularly friendly & helpful. The cottage was central to places of interest around Sligo. We look forward to another vacation @ this Cottage.
