Situated in the heart of 'Yeats Country' and boasting stunning views of the Benbulbin Mountains, the Donegal Mountains and the mighty Atlantic Ocean, Mount Edward offers an excellent level of service and guarantees a genuine Irish welcome. Grange village is about 2 miles away and Sligo town, the county's main town, is roughly 8 miles away.
There are six guest bedrooms, some of which have sea views. All are en suite and have a TV, electric blankets and tea & coffee making facilities.

Description
There's an excellent breakfast menu to choose from in the morning offering a good range of choice. The venue for breakfast is the conservatory from where you can take in the sea and mountain views while you dine. Special diets are also catered for at Mount Edward.
This is a fantastic touring base for the north west of Ireland. Nearby attractions include Yeats Grave and Rosses Point. Streedagh Beach is only about a 5 minute drive away. There's also a championship golf course at Rosses Point and if you're a keen angler or watersports enthusiast the nearby village of Mullaghmore is the place to go.
From Sligo
Travel on the N15 towards Donegal. Pass Drumcliff, continue straight until you come to the Monsoon Valley ,resturant on your right hand side and filling station on the left. Take the 3rd left hand turn and  you will come to  cross roads, go straight though . This will bring you along a narrow road and you will be able to see the mountains and sea in front of you. Mount Edward Lodge is located on the left hand side. There is a sign post for Mount Edward Lodge on the main road.

From Donegal
Tavel through  Grange Village, pass hall ,church and school on  the right hand side. Take a right turn opposite Moran's Pub towards Streedagh. Continue on approx   2 miles until you reach the crossroads, take a left. Mount Edward Lodge on the hill. The pemises is well sign posted.
