Directions

From Ireland West Knock Airport, take the N17 to Charlestown, turn left then right in the town centre onto the Sligo Road, drive for 4km bypassing the village of Curry. At the National School in Curry turn left, signposted for Banada/Aclare, keep on this turn for 3km and turn left and the next junction. Keep left over Banada Bridge and drive for approx 6km passing by Tourlestrance. Before coming into the village of Aclare, Haggart Lodge is on the right hand side.

From Tubbercurry take the Ballina Road (R294) to Mullaney's Cross which is about a 6 mile drive. Turn left for Aclare and drive the 3kms into the village. Turn left in the village and drive for about 400 metres, Haggart Lodge is the last house on the left hand side, 3 houses passed the Garda Station.


From Swinford turn right at the Petrol station when heading in the Foxford direction. Keep on this road for 11km till you come to a junction, then turn right into the village of Aclare. Keep straight through the village for 400 metres, Haggart lodge is the last house on the left hand side.

In an excellent location just a 3 minute walk into the village of Aclare, so park your car and visit Gallagher's or Flynn’s bars.  The famous Joe Dan’s Mullarkey Bar is 3km away, as is the traditional Irish Music Bar, The Border Collie, in Tourlestrane.
