Sligo-Carrigart 265km Start your tour from Sligo, a beautifully situated town, surrounded by mountains. Pay a visit to Sligo Abbey and the museum, situated in the county library. Follow the road through Drumcliffe to Grange and Cliffoney into Bundoran- a resort where you'll find enjoyment for all the family. Continue your tour of Donegal from Ballyshannon, leading north to Donegal town and on to Killybegs by way of Mountcharles, Inver and Dunkineely. Following the coast to Glencolumbkille, a popular holiday centre, you are now in a part of Ireland's 'Gaeltacht' or Irish speaking region. This area of Donegal is noted for its excellent crafts and the production of handmade Donegal tweed. From Glencolumbkille head east to Ardara, Maas and Dungloe-a remarkable tract of rocky lakeland. Drive north from Crolly to the lovely little fishing village of Bunbeg, along the coast to Gortahork and Dunfanaghy, with its lovely beaches and superb cliff scenery. Turn off at Creeslough for Carriagart-beautifully situated on Mulroy Bay.
