The North Star Hotel

hotel was originally built in the 19th century and is mentioned in James Joyce’s masterpiece ‘Ulysses’.
The North Star is a family friendly hotel and is just minutes walk from the National History Museum, Galleries and the National Gallery of Art.
This elegant hotel has a relaxed and quiet ambience and the courteous staff have a wealth of knowledge on things to do and see in Dublin city.
The North Star Hotel is also close to O’Connell Street, Trinity College and the main shopping districts such as Henry Street and Grafton Street.

Directions
The North Star Hotel has direct mainline access at Connolly Station (directly across the road) to and from Sligo, Belfast and Wexford/Rosslare. Via Rail Links - which leaves Busaras every fifteen minutes (peak time) there is convenient access to Heuston Station, which caters for rail passengers through most of the rest of the country.
In addition, the hotel is serviced by the DART system. This is a rapid transport system that stretches from the fishing village of Howth, Co. Dublin to Bray in Co. Wicklow. It departs every 10 minutes at peak hours.
The hotel has its own car park which is available for guests. There is limited parking and the cost is €7 for an overnight stay. Please note guests can use Connolly Station Car Park directly opposite the hotel at same charge - please check in first. The entrance is on Lower Sherrif Street.
