Description
There are three generous bedrooms, each with their own bathroom facilities. The guestrooms are equipped with a hair dryer and on those chilly evening a hot water bottle can be provided. The breakfast is superb with freshly baked breads, cereals and preserves on offer. Eggs are a big treat at the B&B since they come straight from on-site farm.
Since Lough Key Forest Park is right next-door, why not strap on your hiking boots and immerse yourself in the scenery and serenity of the area. Boyle Abbey is nearby and so is Elphin Windmill, which was built in 1720. Historical sites are scattered throughout the county - Carrowkeel Megalithic Tomb is well worth visiting
Directions
The house is right beside the main entrance to Lough Key Forest Park on the N4. It's 4km from Boyle & 10km from Carrick on Shannon.
