We have a natural habitat home to many wild animals and birds on our land. To complete the walk at one's leisure could take up to two hours. Leaving the cottage the walk is directly through all our land at Milltown, Dysart and into a natural habitat Folio 7867 in Taughmaconnell. This thick undergrowth of vegetation, is used for winter grazing cows and sheep in the summer months.
Visitors to our cottage are welcome to take this walk and enjoy the natural landscape untouched for hundreds of years. The natural stone, wild trees and thick undergrowth leave this area difficult to walk but very interesting. The effect of the animals grazing on the vegetation and wildlife appears to be positive and it is a natural healthy combination where all are undisturbed.
