If you're into fishing then you're in luck as it’s possible to go angling on the premises as well as on nearby Lough Garra. Boyle Golf Course (9 hole golf course) is located about 3km away. Also, since it's right on your doorstep you should check out Boyle Abbey, a well-preserved Cistercian Monastery dating back to the 12th century. While you're in Boyle you can check out King House. This house was built by Sir Henry King in the 1730's and it had an important effect on the history of the area.
