The grounds, facilities and setting was beautiful. Very peaceful place to stay. . The room was nothing like it showed on the internet so we were a bit disapointed in that.

We really enjoed our stay at the Abbey Hotel. The staff couldnt have been more helpful, upgrading our room to the bridal suit when they heard that it was our silver wedding anniversary. Fantastic service.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was wonderful. I would stay at the hotel again.

Friendly staff and good service. The radiator in our room didn't work at first but this was quickly fixed. The leisure centre is a real asset, make time to use the pool!

Loved the traditional feel. Olde world style. Very comfortable and homely. Food lovely.

We were on a flying visit. We were late arrivals due to other committments. The reception lady was helpful and friendly. Saturday night in Roscommon is limited but we enjoyed a meal in a Chinese restaurant. The breakfast was good and food fresh and plentiful. Again reception and all staff encountered were helpful and friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay in Roscommon with my 7yr old son. The facilities at the hotel were excellent. The gardens were superb and we spent 2 pleasurable hours in the pool the morning of our departure. Will be back !!!!

The surroundings are beautiful, the hotel is spotless and our room was very spacious. We had a wonderful view of the gardens out front. the ruins of the original abbey were visible from the landing. Our best photos were taken from the back door. I'd recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Roscommon and am sorry we didn't book it for longer.
