GoIreland.com Photography Awards – 2008 Winners Announced

For the 2008 Photography Awards, we asked all amateur photographers to capture a photo of their suggested Wonder of Ireland to help celebrate Ireland’s rich 'Wonders' that particularly fascinate people.

We wanted entrants to share the remarkable and beautiful things in Ireland that evoke surprise and admiration among Irish people and visitors alike.

The overall winning photograph and 11 runners-up will become part of history by being reproduced in an original John Hinde calendar.

At GoIreland.com, we would like to thank the thousands of entrants who submitted such impressive images.

After a tough judging process, where the quality of the images entered was exceptional, the judges finally decided on the following winning image & 11 runners up.
