clones golf club

Clones is now an 18 hole course and was offically opened by Barry McGuigan in August 2002. It's an 18 hole course and Dr. Arthur Spring has done magnificent job for us in carving out a new nine and varied holes from a challenging terrain.

Clones is unique for an inland course in that it is built on the limestone belt and as such is in play all year round. We have a relatively small membership so societies can be catered for every day except Sundays which are devoted exclusively to the members for their competitions.
