the cottages leisure painting breaks

Leisure and painting courses at The Cottages, Laytown/Bettystown, are designed to give you a relaxed and creative holiday. The intention is to teach the beginner and intermediate artist to capture the visual charm of their surroundings and to develop their personal and individual approach to painting.

The atmosphere is informal and relaxed. There is a wide variety of subject matter from seascapes to white washed thatched cottages, to wonderful cottage gardens full of nooks and crannies, everywhere you look another inspired corner to capture. Courses are given in watercolour, pastel, drawing and acrylics. Tutors are all practising artists who have excellent, well-tried teaching skills.

The cusine is delicious, good food lovingly prepared and accompanied by good wine.
