The Anchorage Apartment is a beautiful self-catering holiday rental located in Bettystown, Co. Meath, overlooking Bettystown Beach. This apartment is well appointed, with 3 bedrooms and a master bedroom en-suite with shower and bath. The apartment is located within a minute's walk from this lovely seaside resort's many amenities, including shops, cafes, restaurants, and Funtasia amusement park.
Abundant attractions within the area include Newgrange and the beautiful Boyne Valley. The busy and historic town of Drogheda is a 10-minute drive away. Bettystown is approximately 25 minutes' drive from Dublin airport, and regular buses and trains run from 6am until midnight to Dublin city centre.  Belfast is also easily accessible by train.

Directions

Take exit from M1 for Laytown, Julianstown, and Drogheda South. Take turn for Laytown and follow coast road to Bettystown village.  The block is located on left-hand side.

If travelling by train, take train to Laytown village.  Apartment 20-minute walk.  Buses from Drogheda and Dublin stop in the village every hour.

Within 10kms

A bus service to and from Drogheda and Dublin passes the door every hour.  Laytown train station is approx. 20 minutes away on foot.  Pick-ups for the station can be arranged on request.

Within 5 minutes' walk of the apartment, you'll finde a wide range of shops, including convenience stores, Tesco supermaret, a pharmacy, 2 cafes, a number of restaurants, and bars.

The historic town of Drogheda is only  10 minutes drive away, and the world heritage UNESCO site of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth, in the beautiful Boyne Valley, is under 20 minutes' drive away.

Bettystown is within 20 minutes of the newly opened Battle of the Boyne Heritage centre.  Also in Drogheda is Funtasia Water Park, Ireland's largest water park and the perfect place for kids to spend a day.
 

Description

The apartment is well-furnished, bright, and enjoys views of the beach from the lovely balcony. The large and tastefully decorated sitting- and dining room features double glass doors opening onto the balcony area. There is a separate kitchen equipped with all modern conveniences, crockery, cutlery, and a washer/dryer.

The bedrooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. All fresh bedlinen and towels are supplied.

The block offers lift access to all floors. Ample complimentary parking is available onsite. There is also a green area for kids to play.

The apartments are located in the village centre and within walking distance of all local amenities, including Funtasia (Ireland's largest indoor games centre and ice rink), Laytown and Bettystown Golf Tennis Club, Seapoint Pitch and Putt Club, and (of course!) the beach.
