The Cottages are a group of 6 exclusive 300 year old holiday cottages situated on the beach on Ireland's East Coast, only 25 minutes north of Dublin Airport.  The recently renovated Cottages offer luxurious and peaceful surrounding with large organic flower gardens, very high standard accommodation with stunning views, fully fitted kitchens and comfortable living areas.

The cottages can be enjoyed by families, couples, honeymooners - any one who wants a break from the hustle and bustle of modern day living and experience an idyllic haven of peace.

The Cottages are in a great location for those who wish to Golf, Fish, Walk and Swim or for those who just want to relax.  On your doorstep are the villages of Bettystown and Laytown, here you will find local pubs, excellent restaurants, supermarkets and shops.
From the South / North M1 motorway.
Exit South Drogheda/ Laytown.
Laytown village is 4 miles from the Exit.
We are situated 1 mile from Laytown between the villages of Laytown and Bettystown on the beach side.
Pass Sacred Heart Church and Laytown School large solid wooden Gates on right hand side, opposite Lis-Maura Farm Shop. Door bell on right hand side (inside).
If you are coming from Bettystown we are 1 mile from the village centre just past Lis-Maura   (large yellow house on beach side).

Thatchers Rest Cottage can sleep up to 6 people and has been recently renovated to a very high standard.

· Stunning sea views from the big bay window complete with window seat.
· Large open plan lounge with vaulted oak beamed ceiling, feature stone fireplace, solid oak flooring.
· Fully fitted farmhouse pine kitchen (integrated electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and breakfast bar).
· Utility room (washing machine,tumble dryer) with separate WC.
· Three bedrooms one master suite, one double and one twin en-suite.
· Two luxury full sized bathrooms en-suite (walk in power showers, separate double ended baths, under floor heating, heated towel rails, fitted hair dryers).
· Gas fired central heating and double glazing throughout.
· The master and twin bedrooms share a sunny west facing patio.
