Rannoch is a picturesque guesthouse situated on the seafront in Bettystown in County Meath. The property exudes simple elegance and has 11 beautifully appointed and spacious en-suite guestrooms.

Enjoy beach access directly from the garden, the village centre is less than a 2 minute walk by road or by beach! The house enjoys a lovely large garden area and ample complimentary car parking.

We are easily accessible from Dublin and Belfast city centre with hourly bus and rail services daily. The village is only 25 minute drive from Dublin Airport and an hour from Belfast. Our guest house is the ideal location from which to enjoy a few days at the sea or visit the amazing historical and cultural attractions that are on our doorstep including the world famous UNESCO site of Newgrange, the scenic and historical Boyne Valley region.

Kids will also be spoilt for choice with the Funastia, Irelands largest indoor water and them park.

Rannoch is located in Bettystown on the seafront, just 4 miles south of Drogheda. It’s off the N1 (Dublin/Belfast Road).

Within Walking Distance

There is no doubt that there is a great selection of activities at your doorstep. For the visiting fisherman, you won’t be short on great angling spots to cast off. The avid golfer can always enjoy a round of golf in the local Bettystown Golf Course. For the more energetic, there’s always a variety of water sports nearby. On the way back why not stop off and enjoy a traditional Irish session with the locals in the welcoming pubs of the area.

The accommodation offers peace and quiet for a relaxing break away in scenic surroundings and a breathtaking view of the Irish Sea. The guest house is family run since 1980's and you will enjoy a touch of true Irish hospitality during your stay at Rannoch. A lovely irish breakfast is served daily in the sunroom and guest are welcome to relax and hideaway in the 'Long Room' with a book. Complimentary tea/ coffee are served throughout the day.

The large front garden stretches out along the seafront and guests can access the beach directly from the garden. BBQ facilities for guest use are available through out the summer. Sunloungers and comfortable garden furniture is available to sit and relax during the day whilst listening the sounds of the Irish Sea.

The family friendly property has a large garden and children’s playgound to keep the little ones away from mischief. The guests also have unlimited access to the on-site tennis court where you can practice your serve in peace.
