The hostel is just 200 metres from the gateway of the Newgrange Visitor Centre and only 2km from the village of Donore. The nearest town is Drogheda, a ten minute drive to Newgrange Lodge. Trains travel regularly to Drogheda from Dublin and Belfast. There are buses from Drogheda directly to newgrange daily.
From Dublin Airport: Approx 30 Mins Take the M 1 down to Drogheda . After you pass the toll (which costs €1.80 per car) take the second exit sign posted for the village of Donore Drive through Donore passing Dalys – A lemon coloured pub on your right – for about 2Km and we are on your left .

There are local Restaurants and shops nearby, Donore village is 2km away and 6km to the village of Slane. Bettystown beach is 15mn away and well worth a visit when in the area.
