We are friends of the wedding party. We thought the hotel was excellent. I thought the price of the drinks at the Bar was very high.
Great Hotel with plush surroundings.
I was staying in Knightsbrook for a work colleague's wedding afters that was taking place in Trim Castle Hotel. The Hotel Staff of Knightsbrook were very friendly and helpful. They booked me a cab to the Trim Castle Hotel later on that evening when I was checking in. Also breakfast the next morning was excellent and set me up for the day ahead.
The hotel was great could fault it except for local amenities. We would have liked to bring our young child with us but there does not seem to be ample grounds for walks etc which would keep him occupied.
A brand new establishment and everything was in great condition, well designed and comfortable rooms with well thought out appointments for a traveller. Only comment is that the night lighting in the external areas shines into the rooms of a night and makes it difficult to sleep without drawing all the curtains closed which also blocks the fresh air from the windows. Suggest easy to fix and would save on the power bill as well ! Would recommend to other travellers.

Excellent across the board!!
Very comfortable large room with perfect tempreture (had own controls). The staff were particularly friendly. The hotel very clean - all areas. The lockers in leisure areas needed a lock and girl only had one working one left which we had to share (thank goodness there were only two of us!). We asked for a quiet room but we could hear the band from the bar which were quite loud! and late!! did not bother to complain as only there for one night and already in bed!
