The Daly’s B&B in Navan, is just a stones throw away from Dublin. Navan itself has loads of great historical and archaeological sites of interest. The River Boyne flows through Navan and joins the River Blackwater on its way to the Irish Sea. The ancient Hill of Tara, old seat of power for Ireland is overlooking the town.
During the year there is nearly always a race meeting nearby at least once a week whether be in Navan, Fairyhouse, Bellewstown, Laytown, Kilbeggan, Naas, Curragh, Leopardstown & Dundalk, during the summer nearly always twice a week. Also Tatterstalls Horse 'Sales take place during the year nearby.
With all the golf clubs; Black Bush, Royal Tara, Royal Meath, Knightsbrook, Headfort, Ashboune & Laytown/Bettystown, there is always an Open Week on somewhere near during the summer. Green Fees are greatly appreciated on all courses nearby & all are very welcome.
Bridge is played at least twice a week all year round, visitors are always very welcome. We are very privileged to have The Solstice Arts Centre where various Exhibitions & Music Events take place in Navan.

This beautiful castle takes pride of place on the banks of the Boyne. It is also home to a fantastic music concert, which is held each year and attracts top musicians from all over the world.
Trim Castle, County Meath
The castle was founded by Hugh De Lacy, who was granted the kingdom of Meath. It fell into ruins by 1599 but was used again briefly, by Lord Fennick and the Cromwellites.
