If you're looking for a perfect base from which to explore the west coast of Ireland then look no further than Westwood, a family run bed & breakfast in Westport, County Mayo. From here it's only about a 10-minute walk to the town centre while it's also convenient to the railway station. Inside this modern two-storey house there are four guest bedrooms – one double room and three double & single rooms. All have broadband internet connection, a TV and a hair dryer and are decorated to a high standard. Premises not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

The proprietors were friendly, helpful and insisted that they took us into Westport rather than let us book a taxi. The accommodation was clean and comfortable.
