Over all a nice experience, staff were very good and helpfull. The single beds however were a lttle too narrow and I found myself on the floor on the first morning. Parents should also have been advised not to let their children attend to their own breakfast there were beans everywhere and one child stole my toast.

Westport Woods is a modern hotel which caters for families - the room which we had was very spacious. All the staff which we had contact with were very friendly and helpful.It is not, though, what you would call a 'charming' hotel, but was terrific value for money.

What I liked most about this trip was that I had to stay one night only in this hotel. The greeting from reception on arrival left alot to be desired e.g. our greeting was "what" the initial room assigned was filty and inadequate for the number in the party. the positive thing was that my complaint was dealt with efficiently by another member of the reception staff and we were allocated a second room. This room provided sufficient beds for our party but did not supply sufficient cups/tea/milk for the number of guests in the room. This hotel is rated as 3star but I would have said it was more like a 2 star.

Very friendly service - excellent value for money - very family-oriented - loved the gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi etc - nice part of the world

my main gripe with this weekend one night stay was that it cost me 170 euro to book through goireland, it would have cost me 23 euro to cancel, and my friends stayed there the same night, booked directly over the phone and it cost them 120 euro. booking with go ireland cost me 50 euro!!!

Great spa facilities. Best of all Westport hotels. As with all hotels, reading lights can be a bit weak ,particularly for older people, who have mentioned this problem to me. Some hotels have mounted spots on bedside lamps and these are helpful - when they work!

The hotel was comfortable and very clean. The staff are extremely pleasant and friendly. Loved getting the small bottles of wine and chocolates in our room on arrival.
