Day One : Sheskin Forest, a huge plantation in Ireland's most isolated region - some 500km2 without a single road through it. No disturbances, no noise from human activity. We follow that with a nice stroll on NW Mayo's cliff-top walk.

Day Two - Iniskea Islands, has us out on the wonderful, evocative Iniskea Islands, deserted by humans since the 1930s and now home to many seabirds.

Day Three - The Mullet Peninsula - with its fabulous beaches and views to take the breath away.

Accommodation - Shared twin rooms in our environmentally conscious guesthouse, boasting geothermal heating and solar powered hot water. Full B & B, plus dinner on days one and two, plus packed lunch on each of the three days

Walking is on reasonably flat ground, with little gradient. However, Mayo can be wet underfoot, so a reasonable level of fitness is required. Good hiking boots and wet gear essential. More than that, a true love of the outdoors and
