is located about 3km from the pretty village of Cong, County Mayo, just off the main Galway road. This friendly Bed & Breakfast combines a very good standard of accommodation with an informal and homely atmosphere.
Inside there are four guest bedrooms, two with en suite facilities and two without. Each room has tea making facilities and a hairdryer and if you have a young family cots are available.
A delicious breakfast is served each morning, hot from the kitchen and if you need a high chair just ask.

There's a children's play area outside – you can stroll around the lovely landscaped gardens as you watch them at play and if you'd like a night out on your own a babysitting service can be organised. This is a fantastic touring base with many nearby attractions well worth a visit include some of 'The Quiet Man' film locations, Cong Abbey and Ashford Castle.
Directions
From Cong take Headford/Galway Road for 2.5km and turn right straight on for.05km.
Rooms
This well maintained Bed & Breakfast has four guest bedrooms, two of which offer en suite facilities and two without. All rooms are located on the ground floor, the ensuite rooms are a twin room and double single, the further two bedrooms are a single and a room with double and single bed.
All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and are non smoking.
Facilities
Each morning guests at Villa Pio are served a delicious full Irish Breakfast to start the day.
The house is heated throughout with central heating. A laundry service is available as well as a private car park.
Outside is a stunning landscaped garden for guest use. This B&B is very family friendly offering babysitting service, cot and high chair as well as an outside childrens play area.
The house is a no smoking throughout. Iron and ironing board on request.
If you don't have your own car don't worry as Villa Pio offers a bus and taxi service.

Located in South County Mayo, the village of Cong (which was made famous by the movie 'The Quiet Man') is perfect for an angling holiday as it's situated between Lough Mask and Lough Corrib. Lough Corrib is the closest, only about a 10 minute drive away, and is well known for its salmon and brown trout fishing. Boats are available for hire.
