Since The Links is right next to Achill Golf Club, then why not stroll over there at your leisure and take a few swings on this beautiful yet challenging course. The mainland is just a short drive away and from there you can admire the enchanting Ceide Fields and many of the historical sites dotted along the way. While you’re on your travels you will see the impressive seven arch viaduct in the beautiful town of Newport. Stop off here and enjoy some great Irish cuisine in the wonderful restaurants of the town. There are plenty of things to keep you entertained and occupied in County Mayo, your itinerary will definitely be full.
