Take the break you deserve in front of a traditional open fire in the comfortable, open plan living room and kitchen. From the house and private garden, you can enjoy some breathtaking views of the Minaun Cliffs, Keel Bay and Slievemore Mountains. Seaview also has the added facility of private parking.
This beautiful holiday home is in a scenic location. It is a haven for those of you who want to escape the hustle and bustle of life. It is just 0.6km from the village of Keel within easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants. On a gentle hillside overlooking the bay and the lake, the house is in a small development of eight houses, set back in its own hedged grounds, providing privacy and security. Enjoy a refreshing walk on the magnificent three km long sandy beach. Angling, horse riding, surfing, hiking, windsurfing, cycling and golf can all be enjoyed locally.

At the Minaun Bar on the outskirts of Keel, turn towards the Deserted Village (signposted). The property is at the top of a group of eight houses on the left hand side of the road about 600 metres from the Minaun Bar. The house is set back in its own grounds.

There are three bedrooms in the house, one double room, and two twins, sleeping up to 6 people in total. The master bedroom is ensuite with dressing table and mirror, full length wall mirror, bedside units with lights and hairdryer, while the main bathroom of the house is fitted with a shower.
The spacious living room and kitchen are open plan with a raised fireplace, with views of the mountains, lake and bay. Bed linen and towels are supplied free.

The house has electric central heating and water. The kitchen is fitted with all mod cons such as cooking facilities, fridge and dishwasher and a clothes washer/dryer.
The comfortable sitting room is furnished with rattan settee, tables and chairs, a raised open fire in local stone, television, DVD, radio, CD and tape player, and a well stocked bookcase. Sliding French windows open to a stone flag patio with a large garden surrounded by olearia and fuchia hedging, with spectacular views of the coast, lake and mountains.

There is so much to do and see around Achill Island, and in Mayo, why not start with the stunning coastal Atlantic Drive on Achill and neighbouring peninsular Corraun.
The island has 130 Kms of rugged coastline and the island itself is 23 km east to west and 20 km north to south. See Grace O Malley’s castle at Kildavnet from which she raided the high seas. There are also many picturesque walks all over the island, and stunning hikes, particularly for the energetic on Croghan Mtn (2192 ft) Slievemore (2004 ft). Or enjoy a refreshing walk on the magnificent 3 km of Keel Strand. Angling, horse riding and golf are all available close by. Why not hire a bike and capture the beauty of Achill? And when night falls, enjoy the welcoming music and atmosphere of the traditional pubs in Keel.
