north mayo sculpture trail

This project was put in place as part of the celebration of Mayo 5,000 - a year which celebrated the long social and cultural heritage of Mayo. Leading sculptors from eight countries and three continents were involved in installing specially designed works in the wild and beautiful North Mayo landscape. The result is this unique Sculpture Trail. A tour of the various works will bring you on a scenic exploration of the glorious coast and countryside in this very unspoiled corner of Ireland.
