Mount Faclon Country House Hotel offers a choice of luxury self catering lodges only 120 metres from the hotel. The estate is located on the west bank of the River Moy between the towns of Foxford and Ballina in Co. Mayo.
All of the suites are furnished to a luxurious 4 star standard with 3 bedrooms all with double beds and most with ensuite facilities. Kitchens are fully fitted with mod cons, the inviting lounges offer open fires and flat screen TV’s.
The Woodlands Suites are sandstone detached lodges located in the middle of a mature forest with an original James Franklin Fuller designed water tower as the main feature.
While staying the hotel guests are welcome to avail of the hotels leisure, dining and spa facilities.

Rooms

Each lodge has 3 double bedrooms, with all of these being ensuite. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor and the master bedroom on the upper level.
Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge.

Each lodge is furnished to a very high standard with the latest in modern appliances, the kitchen appliances include cooker, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave.
The open plan lounge has a welcoming open fire and flat screen TV with terrestrial channels.
While staying at the lodges guests can also avail of the hotels facilities such as leisure centre with 17m swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and gym. And if you feel like pampering yourself why not book in for a relaxing treatment at the hotel spa.
The Kitchen Restaurant is situated in the old part of the hotel, this was once the main kitchen of the old house, the food here is inspiring with a lot of thought and fresh local produce in each dish prepared by award winning head chef Philippe Farineau.

Fishing

Mount Falcon has been linked with the River Moy and salmon fishing throughout its history.
The proximity to the tidal waters of the Moy ensures a constant flow of fresh fish (salmon and grilse) throughout the season, but is most effective from the end of April to September. Mount Falcon residents can enjoy exclusively two miles of private fishing rights on both banks of the Moy River.
