Knockranny House Hotel is situated in its own secluded grounds just off the main Dublin/Castlebar Road, the N5. Westport's town centre is a mere 10 minutes walk, while the train station takes approximately 20 minutes by foot.
Conference Facilities
Knockranny House Hotel & Spa recently underwent a major expansion programme, which has transformed it into one of the west of Ireland’s finest conference and event destinations. The hotel now boasts seven conference spaces, the largest of which can accommodate up to 600 delegates theatre style and 320 guests for a banquet or function.

La Fougère
The award winning La Fougère Restaurant has recently been refurbished and serves the very best of Irish cuisine, with a wide variety of international flavours. Seafood is a specialty and the salmon is even smoked on-site in the hotel’s kiln ovens.
Wine enthusiasts will love the newly opened walk-through wine cellar, which features a wide array of wines from around the world. The Irish Independent published an independent review of La Fougère in February 2007 entitled, Room with a View, Decadence and Luxury in Knockranny House, in which they described the restaurant as exquisite while the food was wonderfully flavoursome and well balanced, before going on to give the service and value for money they received the maximum available five star rating.

Knockranny House Hotel is a superb base for golf in the west & north-west of Ireland. We will be delighted to contact the courses in order to arrange tee-times & will also of course look after any travel requirements you may have. The nationally acclaimed links courses at Ballyconneely in Connemara, Carne in Belmullet, Enniscrone & Rosses Point in Co. Sligo are all within 90 minutes drive of the hotel. Westport boasts its own fine course on rolling parkland under the shadow of Croagh Patrick.
