I booked this hotel through GoIreland and was charged around €80 for the night. When I was checking in I was told if I had booked directly with the hotel, I would have been charged €40 for the night. VERY unimpressed with GoIreland!

The Newport Hotel were extremely helpful. We were not statisfied with our initial room and were given an immediate upgrade together with complimentry soup and sandwiches. During our 4 night stay the staff were courteous and very helpful. I would recommend The Newport Hotel to anyone.

THE STAFF! We loved the staff -- who treated us like family. We arrived after dinner hours one night, after hiking Crough Patrick, and they made sandwiches and soup, just for us. Ann at the front desk is a doll. The location is superb, too. A++

Staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty and well presented with quite big portions

The staff were really friendly and professional. The hotel is in a great location and is really comfortable, modern, clean and cosy, it's also a bit of a bargain.
