Westport Arts Festival has been run since 1976 by committees of voluntary members for various local groups. The Festival aims to bring high quality arts event from as wide a range of arts spectrum as possible to Westport....

Swinford hosts Ireland's largest street festival, Siamsa Sraide (fun on the streets) on the August Bank Holiday Weekend. This festival of pageantry and dance depicts much of the culture and heritage of east Mayo. Highlights include open air dancing nightly to some of Ireland's best bands, as well as crossroads Ceili, Historical Walks and a Heritage Day. There is also a Children's programme and an International Busking Competition, which carries a prize fund....

Events include: Live Music on Street , Pub Crawl, 60's Disco, Irish Traditional night on street, Crafts Display, Barbaque on street, Raft Race, Fancy Dress Ball in Community Hall.

Saint Patricks Day has evolved to become a week long celebration of Irish tradition and culture. The festival programme includes Concerts, Mayo Pub Tour, Fishing Competitions, Exhibitions, Table Quizes Exhibitions, Drama and a wide range of evening entertainment.

The highlight of the festival is the parade and with over 40 floats and many bands especially the Quaker City String Band who are celebrating their 20th year of participation in the event....

An explosion of colour, music and pageantry takes place on the banks of the world famous River Moy in Ballina, Couny Mayo each year in mid-July with an entertainment programme to suit all tastes and ages.
