Cong village in located between Lough Mask and Lough Corrib and is an excellent base for fishing and boating. Attractions in the village include the Quiet Man Heritage Cottage which of course is famous due to the 1951 film The Quiet Man staring the late actor John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara. Inchagoill Island Visit Inchagoill Island's 5th century monastic site, sailings are available daily with Corrib Cruises.
