Family rooms very large and comfortable. As a guest who likes to relax with a drink in the lobby this was not really consumer friendly. I think the lobby in a hotel is very important and it needs to show a nice relaxing atmosphere but this hotels was very basic,it really just serves the purpose of checking in.

We stayed in room 1009 and the shower was open plan and the water did not go directly into the drain and the floor was all wet and this was not safe.

Enjoyed our stay,staff very friendly and efficient, our evening meal was delicious and plenty of it,,,only complaint was the lack of comfort in our room,,,,,only one chair and no table ,,,,,so had to sit on the bed,there was a silly coffee table which only got in the way, we mentioned this on check out and was told it would have been changed had we mentioned it at the beginning,,however I feel guests should not have to point out the basic requirements expected for a comfortable stay,

Check in was slow and the voucher meal system was a bit strange, cheap place for a family, not great for a couple, clean hotel good value plenty of stuff to do.

Hotel was nice.Found the duvet to be a little heavy for this time of year.Staff were helpful and friendly.Loved the location of the hotel.Peaceful but at the same time close to Castlebar.
