Welcome to Augusta Lodge which is a beautiful family run purpose built, Irish Tourist Board Approved, 3 Star Guesthouse. Augusta Lodge is located on the Golf Links Road in the picturesque town of Westport in County Mayo Ireland.

As well as offering comfortable accommodation and a warm welcome, Augusta Lodge is an ideal location for the golf enthusiast and Green fees can be arranged at Westport Golf Course and adjacent courses.
Westport Golf Club, which played host to the 2002 Smurfit Irish P.G.A. Championship, is a magnificent 18 hole parkland course with breath taking views of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Rory Mcelroy, the young star of Irish professional golf, won the Irish Close competition in Westport golf club in 2006.
Set in beautiful landscaped gardens, there is also a 9 hole synthetic putting green on site for guests use. Dave will ensure your stay is a memorable one.

The Augusta Lodge guest house is located at Golf Links Road, Westport, Co. Mayo.
Golf -
Augusta Lodge is the ideal base for a golfing holiday.
Westport Golf Club boasts a 260 acre, 18 hole course which has hosted the Irish Amateur Close Championship on 3 Separate occasions. To play on a challenging and well designed course, under the shadow of Croagh Patrick, upon the shores of Clew Bay is any Golfer's Dream.
There are other 18 hole golf courses within an hours drive. These include Enniscorone, Ballinrobe, Conamara and Carne (Bellmullet).
There are also ten 9 hole golf courses within easy reach, Clew Bay by the sea being one of the most spectacluar.
As well as these there are numerous par-3 courses in the area.
Augusta Lodge has a sand based putting green on site for guests use, and Liz and Dave are happy to arrange all your Golfing needs, with reduced green fees, from a wide choice of local golf courses.

Augusta Lodge consists of nine comfortable bedrooms, all of which contain ensuite facilities. Each bedroom is spacious and tastefully furnished throughout to create a relaxing atmosphere and guarantees a good nights rest.

In room facilities include direct dial telephone, remote control Satellite TV, alarm clock radio, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer. In the morning guests can arise to the delicious aroma of a full Irish breakfast.

Breakfast is served up to 10.am in the delightful breakfast suite. Before you set out on the days adventure you can enjoy a choice between a delicious Continental or Traditional Irish breakfasts.

Guest Lounge
In the evening, after a hard days sightseeing, Guests relax in the comfortable Guest Lounge, overlooking the putting green with a good book or magazine or simply relax in front of the TV and catch up on the days events.

Families
Augusta Lodge is a family friendly B&B and even has the added plus of a babysitting service available on request should the occassion arise. A cot and high chair are available on request and the B&B features triple rooms and a room with a double and single bed. Ground floor bedrooms are also available for your peace of mind. There is a beautiful garden for guests use where your little ones can relax and play in the sunshine.
