Travelling from Galway
Take the Headford Road and continue straight through Headford. When you arrive at Cross Village, you take a left at the Y junction and drive for about 3km. The house is on your left.
Directions from Cong Village
When you arrive at Ashford Castle Gate on your right, continue straight ahead for approx 1km. The house is located on the top of a hill on your right and can be seen from the main road.
Directions from Ballinrobe
When you arrive at thre junction for Ashford Castle, take a left and travel 1km and the house is on the right.

Cong village is an excellent centre for fishing, tennis, golf, cycling, hillwalking and boating. Lough Corrib is home to swans and coots and is rich in brown trout, salmon, pike, perch and eels. You can also enjoy the many bars and restaurants in the village.
The Quiet Man
The classic films 'The Quiet Man'. which starred well known actors such as Maureen O'Hara, John Wayne and Barry Fitzgerald was filmed in 1951 and it is set in the beautiful West of Ireland. Filming being centered in the village of Cong and The Quiet Man Heritage Cottage is well worth a visit.
