Climb to some dizzy heights and capture a bird’s eye view of the surrounding area. Croagh Patrick Mountain is located just 8km from Westport and is a scared and beautiful hill. It rises from the sea on to reach a height of 764 metres
Westport House
is an 18th Century Historic Homes which was built on the site of castle owned by Pirate Queen Grainne Uaile. Today it is still lived in and owned by the Browne Family, here you will find magnificent mature trees and parkland, facilities include a children’s playground, pitch and putt and a bird and animal park.

Westport Heritage Centre
is housed in a 19th Century building and tells the story of Westport throughout the years. Well worth a visit.
