Built in 1750, this old, listed, historic farmhouse has been beautifully and lovingly restored, maintaining its original old world charm yet with all the modern conveniences added. In by gone years, Rampark Farmhouse had strong connections with the War of Independence, so there is many an Irish scéal to this two storey thatched farmhouse.

Situated in the Cooley mountains in the heart of the Train Walking Trail, close to Carlingford Lough and only one hour from Dublin or Belfast, this is an ideal spot for the great outdoors or just a relaxing holiday.
Directions
From Dublin
The major roads that service County Louth are the M1 (N1) – the main Dublin-Belfast route, and the N2 – the main Dublin-Derry route.
1. Follow signs for M1 towards Belfast
2. Exit the M1 at the Carlingtford, North Dundalk, N52 exit.
3. At the roundabout off the M1 take the 4th exit onto the N52 towards Carlingford.
4. At the second roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the R173 towards Carlingford.
5. After 9km you will enter the village of Lordship.
6. Rampark Farmhouse is on your right, 50m past the turn for Railway Village, and directly opposite the football pitches and local school.
From Belfast
1. Head south out of Belfast on the M1 towards Dublin.
2. Exit the M1 at the Carlingford, North Dundalk, N52 exit.
3. Follow directions as above.
Rooms
There are 4 bedrooms in the cottage 2 family room and two twins allowing for up to 10 people. Such a large house makes it ideal for families or groups.
Rooms are beautifully decorated, with wooden flooring and a rustic old world charm.
There are three bathrooms in the house one with a Jacuzzi bath.
Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge.
Facilities
There are two TV’s in the cottage, one in the dining room and one in the lounge, with a wide range of Satellite channels are available.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern convenience such as, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, cooker and coffee machine.
The outhouses can be used for safe storage of equipment, also outside is a large south facing garden.
