The bed and breakfast is located just 1km from the beautiful coastal village of Blackrock just south of Dundalk in County Louth. Your hosts, Orla O’Grady and her family will do everything to ensure you have an unforgettable holiday experience during your short time with them. The Bed and Breakfast is quite, spacious and modern and has a host of activities and attractions nearby. In recent times the property has been a RAC 3 Diamond and Warm Welcome Award Winner in 2005/2006 It’s no surprise that it becoming more and more popular with visitors to the area.

Directions from Dublin Take a right turn at Xerox. Continue on the N1 past the Fairways Hotel. Take the second left after the Fairways Hotel. The B&B is the second house on the left hand side. Directions from Belfast Take a right turn at Xerox and follow the directions the same as above.
Greengates B&B is the perfect location from which to tour Dundalk and is just approximately 40 minutes from the bustling capital, Dublin City. Enjoy the seaside village of Blackrock where there are lots of bars and restaurants, beautiful beaches and much much more.

Near to facilities needed for an overnight stop. Black Rock was very clean and the pub we used (The Stone House) for an evening meal was very welcoming and friendly.

We arrived after a long flight from Vancouver. Had a very well rested sleep followed by a great breakfast. As we both have grandchildren we enjoyed watching the children enjoy their hallowe-en. A very good start to our trip!
