Carlingford is a beautiful Heritage town, so take the time to enjoy what it has to offer such as The Holy Trinity Heritage Centre, which is a beautifully restored medieval church exhibiting Carlingfords development from its Norman origins.
Visit Carlingford Castle, (King John's Castle) allegedly founded by King John who stayed here for three days in 1210.
You will find an extensive range of quality restaurants serving Italian, gourme and traditional cuisine, where you can dine in the gentle flicker of candlelight.
Beachcombers Cottage is an excellent base for touring this fantastic area of County Louth.
