Stay at a delightful detached two-storey house on the Roscommon side of the town of Lanesborough in the heartland of Ireland. Sleeping eight comfortably, the house lies within a five-minute walk of the river Shannon and the excellent coarse fishing of Lough Ree.
 
The property contains two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two single bedrooms (one of which is downstairs). The house is comfortably heated. There is an upstairs bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs there is a sitting room with open solid fuel fireplace, a kitchen/dining room with a solid fuel range, a shower room, a second kitchen, a conservatory, and a multi- purpose room that can be used as an extra bedroom.

Directions

Located in the town of Lanesborough on the N63, main route from Longford to Roscommon. Turn in the town on to the R371, Strokestown Road and the house is the first two storey house on the left (100 meters down).

Description

There are well-kept gardens around the house, parking for at least four vehicles, and extensive lockable outbuildings - one of which contains a bait fridge.
The lake is approx. 300 metres walk away from the house. Fresh bait, fishing equipment, and boat hire are available in the town.
