All perfect - would definitely stay again!
The hotel was quite cheap ,nice room for my purpose: have a rest and a nice shower after my trip. without luxury but with all the necesary: comfy bed, clean bathroom, powerful shower and very quite. A nice place to go.
I was disappointed with the standard of the room because of the sagging mattress (also the towel rail didn't work). I did report the mattress on departure. I booked with Travelodge because in the past I had been sure that the bed provided would be firm. This is important to me because I have a bad back. My overall impression of Travelodge Limerick was that the rooms are in need of a "refresh".
On behalf of the Travelodge Limerick I would like to express how sorry I am to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. One thing we pride ourselves on is the quality of our beds. It is a shame you didn't come to reception; we would have willingly relocated you. In relation to towel rails, they are disconnected in all bathrooms for health and safety reasons. We have launched 32 brand new rooms; all have the same Balmoral Divan beds. Your feedback serves to improve our service operations; I will of course look into this issue for you.Deirdre O'Connor, Hotel Manager
Staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Room was more than adequate and the hotel was easily reachable from Limerick and also a good starting point for travelling throughout County Clare.
We thought that the "Not very far from the town" was a bit of an understatment! It was a good drive in a taxi and to walk took 1hr! Other than that good value!
Travelodge is literally a bed for the night. The rooms were basic but clean. No hairdryer in the room. Wasn't impressed with the catering facilities. Eddie Rockets was all that was on offer and it seems to be all fast food.
average, ok for the price
