Mags Cottage is a beautiful 4 star self catering cottage located a short stroll from the quaint village of Ballyhahill, Co. Limerick and 7 miles from Joynes and Glin, near the Shannon Estuary. 30 minutes from picturesque village of Adare.

This cottage provides the utmost in comfort from the moment you step inside.   The house is highly energy efficient, with an open plan layout.   The master bedroom is ensuite while the main bathroom is fitted with bath & shower.

 

Mags Cottage is an ideal touring base for Kerry, Limerick and Clare (via the Tarbert/Killimer car ferry).
Mags Cottage is 40 minutes from Limerick City along the N69 Coast Road.  Travel through the village of Loughill after the bridge in Loughill you turn left, sign post will also indicate same.

This road will bring you into the village of Ballyhahill.  On entering the village of Ballyhahill from this road you will see the local Catholic Church, turn right at this point and travel through the village.

Ther is a local pub on your left hand side call Bar Na Strada, after this pub is a narrow lane.  Take this narrow lane which will bring you onto the property 'Mags Cottage'.

 The house has a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a solid fuel wood burner.  Perfect for unwinding after a days touring or sharing a nice meal with friends.  There is also a sunroom with equal comfort, great for reading or watching TV.

Mags Cottage is the perfect base for touring counties, Limerick, Cork and Kerry also Co. Clare is just across the estuary via a 30 minutes car frerry from Tarbert.

From the house there is a shop only 176 yeads away, restaurant 4 miles and beach 30 miles away.  There are plenty of private beautiful scenic country walks through Irish Dairy Farm. In nearby Glin there are some lovely walks along Glin Pier.  Glin offers several Irish pubs with traditional Irish music, you can also visit Glin Castle which is open to the public for tours by appointment.

In Foynes 7 miles away you can find 'The Flying Boat' museum and the Irish Coffee Festival which is held each July, here you can sample some world renowned Irish Coffees.

Listowel which is 13 miles away hosts a Writers Festival each May and the Listowel Races are held each September.  There are plently of beautiful sandy beaches neary like Ballybunion which also has a championship Golf Course.
