The Greenhills is a superb family run hotel 58 bedroom 3 Star hotel ideally located in the heart of the west of Ireland, on the N18 just 1km from Limerick City.  The hotel is easily accessible to Shannon International Airport which is just a 15 minutes drive.

The Greenhills Hotel is a neighbour of the infamous Thomond Park  - "the proud home of Munster Rugby". The Limerick GAA Gaelic Grounds are also adjacent to the hotel. 

In Limerick you will find a wide range of activities for all ages and great facilities on offer such as culture activities, horse racing, fishing, horse-riding, golf, river cruising and much more.

Directions

From Galway: On passing by Bunratty Castle, take next slip road signposed "Caherdavin" and continue to the Coonagh Roundabout (Tesco on left hand side). Take the 2nd exit and hotel is located on left hand side of the road.

From O'Connell Street, City Centre: Drive along O Connell Street until reach sign on right for Galway/Shannon. Take first right and first left leading you out over Sarsfield Bridge. Continue for about 2 miles passing by GAA Grounds on right handside. Hotel is located about 5 mins walks from GAA Grounds on same side of road.

The hotel was excellent and an ideal location to visit thomond park for the match as only a 10 minute walk. The leisure centre is particular good

Staff warm and friendly. Learnt there that our room had been changed but we were given 3 options all of which were acceptable. Very impressed when duty manager took it upon himself to convert a double bed into two singles for my daughter and myself,there and then. We didnt use the restaurant hence unable to score. Surprisingly quiet given location next to busy road. A long walk to town but manageable. (NB "fam w kids" is nearest to myself and 20 yr old!)
