The team at Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel are very sorry that your stay was not to your satisfaction. Having reviewed all of our guest comment cards from the period during your stay, we appear not to have been informed of your dissatisfaction. In fact, our first awareness was on receipt of your comments via the GoIreland website in early May. Had we been informed on the night, we would have welcomed the opportunity to change your room if it was not to your satisfaction.

 

The room allocated to you for your stay was one of our smoking rooms. This many have attributed to it not being as fresh as you would have liked. I would recommend requesting a non smoking room at the reservation stage to ensure that this does not negatively affect your stay in any hotel. Equally so, I would like to reaffirm that we would have welcomed the opportunity to change your room had we been informed.
