The Dunraven Arms, one of the South West’s best known 4 star hotels, was opened in 1792. Located among the traditional thatched cottages of Adare, the hotel offers an old world country house atmosphere along with friendly staff and first class service.
We cater to the most discerning of guests, offering 86 bedrooms beautifully appointed with antique furniture and private dressing rooms. Adare is an ideal base for sporting enthusiasts, including equestrian activities, golf and fishing. The hotel is ideally located, only 10 minutes from Limerick City and 30 minutes from Shannon Airport. The hotel also offers the opportunity to see many renowned sights, including a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, Kenmare ,the Burren, or Blarney and still be back in time to enjoy the famous Dunraven food and hospitality.
Directions

Directions from Shannon Airport, 40km.
On leaving the airport follow the N18 in the direction of Limerick/Tralee. As you approach the city roundabout take the exit for Tralee and follow the Cork/Tralee signs until you reach the N21. Follow the N21 for Tralee until you reach Adare. The Dunraven Arms is on the right hand side as you enter the village.

The Dunraven Arms is ideally located in the village of Adare for partaking of wonderful shopping including boutiques and antique shops, visit the Adare Heritage Centre, guided tours to the recently restored Desmond Castle, walk along the River Maigue, or indeed, fish in this well stocked river. Play in the two 18 hole golf courses, including Adare Manor, home of the Irish Open. Other local activities include Clonshire Equestrian Centre, Stonehall Farm, Limerick Racecourse, the Celtic Gardens and walks in Curraghchase Forest Park.

Drive to the Georgian city of Limerick and visit the Hunt Museum, King John’s Castle, enjoy a concert at the University Concert Hall or a play at the Belltable Theatre.
